Current mode: Offline (pre-written answers)
How to obtain a key: go to console.anthropic.com, create an account, add credit (a few dollars will cover hundreds of exchanges) and generate a key. The key is stored solely on your device (localStorage) and never transmitted anywhere except directly to the Anthropic API.

How does it work?
Offline mode (without an API key)
The Magister uses pre-written answers covering the principal lessons. Handy for getting started, though he soon repeats himself. Ideal for exploring the features.
Connected mode (with an Anthropic API key)
The Magister holds a free conversation, follows your reasoning, examines your texts and corrects you on fine points. If you enable web search, he can check recent references, dates and publications, and point you towards reliable external resources.
Adaptive quiz mode
The Magister puts questions calibrated to your level (as declared in ) and your confession. He assesses your answers, gives detailed corrections and commends you when you are right — the equivalent of a congenial university oral.
Text explanation mode
You paste in a verse, a patristic quotation, an article from a confession of faith. The Magister explains it: historical context, philology, theology, reception, controversies. Useful for preparing a paper or an examination.
Privacy and data
The whole conversation stays on your device. If you use your own API key, requests go directly to the Anthropic API (and, if enabled, to the web-search API), without passing through any intermediate server. No data is collected by Theologia Reformata.
